Top Two Party Mishaps And The Mess They Leave
When it comes to house parties there are bound to be a few spills. You might not be that bothered at the time but the next day when your not so merry you’re going to be cursing those clumsy friends of yours! In between trying to find out who the culprit was and vowing to never trust your mates with fancy ‘grown up’ glasses to drink their beverages out of, you are going to be panicking about how to remove those stains.
Red Red Wine
The most common of all the party related stains is red wine. That blood red liquid and soak into a sofa, rug or carpet and own it in just a few minutes so speed is crucial! The sooner a professional carpet cleaning gets to a stain the better but if that’s not possible then you can do some damage limitation. Soak up as much of the wine as you can with a clean white cloth. The trick is to blott the stain. DO NOT rub it! You don’t want to help it infuse with yet more of the materials fibres! Once you’ve realised it’s too tough to handle you need to call in the professionals.
Now this all depends on what kind of party you are having. With kids parties vomit on the carpet or rug is a real possibility! All that fizzy pop, chocolate cake and sweets might want to make a quick exit if they’ve been jiggling around in a 6 years old’s tummy for an hour! Of course as seasoned Liverpool carpet cleaners we’ve also seen our fair share of adult vomit stains in the aftermath of a good party! Something about grown up puke just isn’t as cute as the stuff with full, unchewed gummybears! Obviously the first thing you need to do in this situation is (sorry about this) scrape the excess off! Yep, that’s gross! Get rid of all those chunks and then give us a call. We’re the experts. We’ll erase every trace of the unwanted projectile and no one will be the wiser!
